Master Grants African American Scholarships


African American Scholarships Total grant is CHF 1600 .- per month from 15 September to 15 July, for the duration of which does not exceed the minimum requirement of the program period (in accordance with the program, year and a half or two years are reduced placement exempt paid or semester, if any). The departure from the program results in a suspension of aid. Participants must be holders of degrees from foreign universities. Qualifications held by candidates should be considered equivalent to a Bachelor's UNIL.

African American Scholarships Candidates complete the "UNIL Teacher Grant" form and submit their application to the Office for socio-cultural affairs (SASC, Unicentre, University of Lausanne, CH-1015 Lausanne, info.sasc @ unil.ch) by December 15, 2011 at the latest. This application was reviewed by the University's rector to determine whether the candidate is accepted. The National Union’s African American Scholarship Program


African American Scholarship National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE) offers four scholarships that reflect the pursuit of equal opportunities for all workers. They are open to children of National Union's 340,000 members who started post-secondary education.

PhD African AmericanScholarships


African AmericanScholarships Each fellowship amounts to € 19.800,00 per year; this amount includes national insurance contributions (INPS) that fellowship recipients are required to pay (8,91% for 2011).

The fellowship doesn`t cover the annual entrance fee and doesn`t increase for research periods spent abroad.

The PhD African AmericanScholarships Programme lasts three years and may be extended to a fourth year (without grant), subject to approval by the School authorities. At the end of the first and second year of attendance, students have
to be evaluated as proficient according to the rules of the Schools.

PHD STUDENT POSITION African American Scholarships


The African American Scholarships aim of the project is to expand and draw control to protect the surface and other coatings for controlled release. The idea is to restrict the anti-growth micro-particles by the agents are distributed in the coating may slow. The research goal of this work is to explore and understand the basic mechanisms for the controlled release of the microparticles.

African American Scholarships Since the project focuses on a variety of parameters that affect the release, several experimental methods will be considered. Microscopy techniques, diffraction and NMR spectroscopy is used to study the physical condition of the microparticles. Release studies include spectroscopy, chromatography and fibrillation.

Required qualifications

The most important qualification is your desire to devotedly conduct chemistry research.

You have a Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, physics, or equivalent and you appreciate to work in the lab and with theoretical tools from the perspective of physical chemistry. The work requires knowledge of both surface and polymer science as well as skills in mathematical modeling. You take initiative in your work and you appreciate collaboration. You speak and write English.

PhD African American Scholarships Positions in Information and Knowledge Society


The IN3 announces that the call for selection of PhD African American Scholarships students for the next academic course will be open in April. This call will offer positions for both full-time students (grant holders), who will develop their research face to face at the IN3’s facilities -with a 3-year scholarship grant- and also part-time students, who will develop their research through an online methodology. The African American Scholarships programme has three different specialisations: Information and Knowledge Society, Network and Information Technologies and e-learning.

It is our hope that our post doctoral fellows will partner with us to develop an inter-disciplinary ethics community across the campus. More information about the application process and the specific deadlines will be posted during Fall quarter.

This fellowship program is run jointly by The Center for Ethics in Society and the Program on Global Justice. For 2011-2012, we seek up to four post doctoral fellows. We welcome candidates with substantial normative research interests from diverse backgrounds including philosophy, the social sciences, and professional schools. We are especially interested in candidates with research interests in international topics, including human rights, immigration, and environmental justice, but we welcome all applicants with strong normative interests that have some practical implications. Fellows will teach one class, participate in the Political Theory and Global Justice Workshops, interact with undergraduates in the Ethics in Society program and help in developing an inter-disciplinary ethics community across the campus.

Appointment is for one year, but may be renewed for an additional year. Applicants must have their doctoral degree in hand no later than 30 days prior to the appointment start date and be no more than 3 years from the awarding of the degree.

Throughout its 125 years of history, HEC School of Management has continually attracted a special kind of individual highly capable and talented, innovative, entrepreneurial, ambitious and open minded. HEC ‘s aim is to train the world leaders of tomorrow.

HEC scholarships fall into various categories: merit-based, need-based, based on a combination of merit and need, or based on specific criteria, as in the case of the Forté Scholarship or the Alcatel Scholarship. Since each HEC MBA Scholarship is different, we advise applicants to launch the application process as early as possible. In some cases, an essay is required.

To be eligible for the scholarships, admitted candidates must supply details about their financial status and how they intend to finance their studies over the duration of the 16-month HEC MBA Program. All scholarship applications are initially completed online. For some scholarships, applicants may be required to attend an interview.

HEC- EGIDE/ EIFFEL Scholarships
Launched in January 1999 by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministère des Affaires Etrangères), the Eiffel Scholarship is designed to bolster international recruiting by French schools of higher education, at a time when competition to attract top foreign students is growing among developed countries.

Eligibility:
* Be aged 30 years old or less in the selection year
* Have a single nationality from a developing country deemed an 'emerging country' by the French state department, especially those in Asia and Latin America, for example, currently under-represented among the student population in France

Amount of Award: The Eiffel Scholarship provides participants with a monthly allowance of €1,031, and covers additional expenses including travel, health insurance and cultural activities. Tuition fees are not covered by the scholarship.

HEC- Fondation Rainbow Bridge
The Fondation Rainbow Bridge Scholarship was established in memory of Muriel Dargent (1967 – 2004), Matthieu Dargent (1997 – 2004), Iris Dargent (2001 – 2004), and Muriel's parents, all of whom disappeared in the December 2004 Tsunami.

Eligibility: Recipients of this scholarship are top-caliber female candidates who have been admitted to the HEC MBA program and who can demonstrate exemplary leadership skills in one or more of the following areas: Community work,Charity engagement, Sustainable development practices.

HEC- Ile-de-France Master's Scholarship
To support its policies in favor of students' international mobility, the Ile-de-France region has established the Ile-de-France Master's Scholarship, intended to allow institutions of higher education in the Paris region to welcome foreign students, hailing primarily from decentralized zones of cooperation and wishing to follow a Master's program (first and/or second year). The total number of scholarships is determined each year, based on the amount of regional funding available.
